Description of the event
From February 5th to 7th, 2025, in Genova, the conference for young botanists took place. This biennial event provides early-career researchers with the opportunity to enter the academic world, share their work, and connect with new research and colleagues.
While awaiting the start of the experimental season of PHOTOPLANT (scheduled for summer 2025), the project team is working on drafting a systematic review on the role of photoperiod in shaping how plant species and communities respond to climate change, in combination with the global temperature increase recorded in recent decades.
It was precisely on this topic that Dr. Martina Tarascio focused her presentation during the conference.
